On the 20th August, Chinese company ENN Ecology Holding Ltd announced the launch of the annual 

1000-ton glufosinate project by its wholly-owned subsidiary Hebei Veyong Bio-Chemical Co.,Ltd with 

an investment of Yuan 255 million.Veyong has currently an annual 450-ton glufosinate production 

capacity in operation. The new 1000-ton capacity will be built based upon its existing plant facilities,

which effectively utilizes its resource and uprates technical process. The project is of important 

significance to the adjustment of the product mix to the benefit of the future strategic development 

of the subsidiary company.

In the 1st half of 2015, ENN’s pesticide business income was Yuan 604 million. The company is expecting

an annual income of over Yuan 200 million from the above mentioned glufosinate project after completion 

with a net profit of Yuan 31.43 million. 

At present China’s glufosinate projects already built and to be built include Yonon’s existing annual 

2500-ton glufosinate technical capacity and the planned annual 5000-ton glufosinate technical project 

in 2016, Lier Chemical’s existing annual 1600-ton glufosinate technical capacity and the planned 2000

-ton glufosinate project in its Guang’an Base in 2016,Jiangsu Huangma’s existing annual 500-ton 

glufosinate technical capacity and Huifeng Agrochemical’s annual 5000-ton glufosinate technical capacity 

to be expected  in near future.
