Biofit is a biostimulant made from organic acids wich stimulates natural defenses of plants (PHYTOALEXINS) . These substances have action on fungi and bacteria. 
BIOFIT has both effects: preventive, and curative in the firsts steps of development of pathogen.

CHARACTERISTICS 
Contains a high concentration of several : 
- Organic Acids (Citric acid, Ascorbic acid, Palmitic acid, Lactic acid. . . ) . 
- Vitamins (specially stabilized VITAMIN C and several derivates of it) . 
- citrus seeds extract. 
- Tocopherols. 
- Polysaccharides, etc. 
It is known that stabilized Vitamin C is a very good fungicide. 
It has a yellowish colour and a mild orange odour. 

HOW DOES BIOFIT WORK? 
Has several ways of action: 
- It has an effect on the spores reducing the rate of its germination (preventive effect) . 
- It has an stopping effect to the fungus advance, mainly on the hyphas development. 
- BIOFIT also has an effect on the plant directly: 
 Some of the components of BIOFIT have the property of inducing synthesis of some substances of the secondary   metabolism of plants call phytoalexins (Natural Defense Stimulators) . This substances are very effective fungicides   and bactericides for several species of plant pathogens improving the answer of the plant when the attack or   infection is produced. 
 The combination of these two effects produces a synergetic plant resistance having an optimal control of fungus and   bacterial diseases in the field. 
- Is a SYSTEMIC product, that protects all the plant in ascendent and descendent direction. 

WHAT IS THE BEST PERFORMANCE? 
The best performance of BIOFIT is obtained applying preventively before the infection. The average persistance of BIOFIT , depending of the climate and biological conditions, is around 10-14 days. A close attention to the weather forecast and the recomendations of the Officials Services of Crop Protection are, then, the best allieds of the grower. The effect of BIOFIT is reinforced by several applications due to phytoalexin synthesis. 

WHAT IS THE OPTIMUM RANGE OF pH ? 
The optimum range of pH for best performance of BIOFIT is 5.2 to 6.7 . 

ON WHICH DISEASES IS BIOFIT EFFECTIVE? 
BIOFIT, acts as a wide range fungicide and bactericide. It must be used as preventive as it has a very much stronger effect, but it is also a good postinfection action. 
It has a very good action on bacteria.
